Full house renovation
Finding the Home
The clients had been searching for their dream home for a while when they discovered this 1980s house. It was small, but the garden was big enough for barbecues with friends, impromptu football games with the neighbours, and in the end the view of the mountain peaks made their decision for them. They instantly imagined a home filled with light, comfort, and a deep connection to nature.

Before & After
The Clients’ Wish List
They wanted:
-
Two inviting bathrooms
-
A parental suite with a walk-in closet
-
An open kitchen where cooking becomes a joy
-
Living and dining areas that feel welcoming, warm, and perfect for gatherings
The Challenges
The house came with its fair share of obstacles:
-
The previous owner’s DIY approach had left the electrical and heating systems outdated
-
Bedrooms were cramped, and the living room felt narrow
-
Integrating new walls with the existing red brick structure required careful planning
Our Approach
We undertook a full-scale renovation to address these challenges. Walls were reconfigured to maximize space and flow, creating larger bedrooms and an open-plan living area. New, modern systems were installed to ensure comfort, safety, and efficiency. The kitchen was completely replaced with a design that could accommodate more than just the family and still feel cosy and reflect the clients’ lifestyle.

Results
The final design has transformed the house into a warm, inviting home where friends and family feel instantly welcome. The open-plan layout enhances natural light and views, while the bedrooms and parental suite provide the space and privacy the clients wanted. The home now perfectly combines functionality, comfort, and a sense of connection to the surrounding nature — a place where everyday moments turn into lasting memories.
